El nuevo disco del grupo alemán Tokio Hotel se llamará "Humanoid" y saldrá a la venta la primera semana de octubre, informó hoy su mánager, David Jost, a la agencia dpa.

"Bill (Kaulitz) quería que el álbum tuviera un único nombre en todo el mundo", explicó Jost.

Los dos primeros discos de la banda juvenil fueron traducidos al inglés en los mercados fuera de Alemania. Así, el primero de ellos, en 2005, apareció con el título "Scream" en lugar de "Schrei" como en Alemania, y al segundo, que salió a la venta en 2007, se le dio el título de "Room 483" en vez de "Zimmer 483".

La banda formada por el cantante Bill Kaulitz, de 19 años, su hermano gemelo, el guitarrista Tom, el batería Gustav Schäfer, de 20 años y el bajo Georg Listing, de 22, se ha convertido en poco tiempo en uno de los grupos de música más exitosos de Alemania y lidera las listas de ventas en varios países.

Hamburg (dpa) - Sie sind Idole von Teenagern auf der ganzen Welt, räumen Musiktrophäen reihenweise ab, und sie zahlen den Preis für ihren Ruhm: Die Magdeburger Band Tokio Hotel und ihre Familien werden nach Angaben ihres Managers seit Jahren von Stalkern verfolgt und bedroht.
Tokio-Hotel-Manager David Jost schrieb am Sonntag in einer E-Mail an die Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa, dass die vier jungen Männer um Sänger Bill Kaulitz (19) und ihre Familien deshalb ständig ihre Wohnorte gewechselt hätten und sie geheim hielten.

Aktuell würden die Musiker seit mehreren Monaten von maskierten Mädchen belästigt. «Diese vermummten Mädchen sind keine Fans, sondern das sind militante Stalker, das hat mit wahrem Fantum nichts zu tun», betonte Jost.

Nach einem tätlichen Angriff auf ein Familienmitglied der Kaulitz-Zwillinge habe die Band am 9. April Strafanzeige gegen eine Verfolgerin gestellt. «Wir werden Anfang der Woche weitere Strafanzeigen erstatten und unter anderem auch beantragen, dass sich diese Stalker der Band und vor allem den Familienmitgliedern der Band nicht mehr nähern dürfen», schrieb Jost aus Los Angeles, wo er seit Monaten am neuen Album der Gruppe arbeitet. Von der Polizei gab es am Wochenende keine Bestätigung für den Eingang einer Strafanzeige der Band.

Stalking (englisch to stalk: anschleichen) ist ein Straftatbestand. In Deutschland stehen darauf bis zu drei Jahre Haft. Oft werden Prominente von anderen Menschen mit einer Mischung aus Fanatismus und Eifersucht verfolgt. Popstar Madonna, Tennis-Ikone Steffi Graf, Topmodel Claudia Schiffer oder Schauspielerin Jodie Foster machten schon solche Erfahrungen. Beatles-Mitbegründer John Lennon starb 1980 durch eine Kugel, die ein fanatischer Fan auf ihn abgefeuert hatte. Der früheren Tennis-Weltranglistenersten Monica Seles rammte 1993 in Hamburg ein psychisch kranker Fan ihrer deutschen Kontrahentin Steffi Graf ein Messer in den Rücken.

Soweit soll es bei Tokio Hotel nicht kommen. Jost schrieb, die Polizei habe den Musikern empfohlen, Beweise gegen die Stalkerinnen zu sammeln. Bill, Tom und Mitglieder der Familie Kaulitz hätten deshalb seit einigen Wochen damit begonnen, die Verfolgerinnen zu filmen und zu fotografieren. Auch darauf hätten die Stalkerinnen aggressiv reagiert. «Unter anderem schlugen sie einem Familienmitglied das Foto-Handy aus der Hand.»

Zu Tokio Hotel gehören neben Sänger Bill und Gitarrist Tom Kaulitz auch der Schlagzeuger Gustav Schäfer (20) und der Bassist Georg Listing (22). Begonnen hat der Hype um die Band im Jahr 2005. Damals landeten Tokio Hotel mit «Durch den Monsun» einen Nummer-Eins-Hit in den deutschen Musik-Charts, auch das folgende Album «Schrei» stürmte die Hitliste. Ihre erste Tour musste verlängert werden, bei Konzerten fielen kreischende Teenager reihenweise um. Vor allem Bill, ein androgyner Typ mit schräger Steckdosenfrisur, Kajal-umrandeten Augen und schwarz lackierte Fingernägeln brachte die Fans zum Ausrasten.

Europaweit und auch in den USA wird Tokio Hotel als deutscher Exportschlager gefeiert. Nach Preisen in der Heimat («Goldene Stimmgabel», «Echo», «Goldene Kamera») folgte 2008 der internationale Siegeszug: Die Musiker wurden beste Nachwuchsband bei den MTV Video Music Awards in den USA, räumten als erste deutsche Gruppe bei den MTV Latin America Awards ab und gewannen als beste Liveband bei den MTV Europe Music Awards.

Den Senkrechtstartern sei von Anfang an klar gewesen, dass ihre Karriere den Verlust ihrer Privatsphäre bedeute, schrieb Jost an die dpa. Sie würden sich darüber auch nicht beklagen und seien sich diverser Vorteile komplett bewusst. «Problematisch wird es für die Jungs allerdings dann, wenn ihre Familien belästigt, bedroht und angegriffen werden.»
